I am the Crew Club Fitness Center general manager, and also a fitness instructor. I have been educating individuals and groups in various principles of fitness and nutrition since 1992.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Cardiac Rehab) from Ball State University. In addition, I have completed courses in chemistry, biology, medical studies, nutrition, dietetic technology, and psychology from Ball State University, Rogers University and Oklahoma City College. My clinical experience was completed at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, and their Rehab Sports Medicine Complex in Carmel, Indiana.
I particularly enjoy training to educate. For my clients as well as my personal fitness, I’m always looking for new techniques to inspire and keep everyone on their toes. I’m constantly reviewing new concepts in the pursuit of health and fitness, while maintaining core values and fundamental guidelines of fitness prescription.

In addition to the above, I love to participate in community health building. I’ve participated in the St. John 8 Tuff Mile; I developed and taught a body sculpting class at both Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Virgin Islands Human Services Department. I strongly believe in giving back to the community, and hope to do more in the future. I love leading walk-jog groups throughout various parts of the island, including Magens Bay Trail, Peterborg Road, and Flag Hill (Paradise Point).
My latest endeavor is the pursuit of greener ways to live on the island. I recently purchased an electric bicycle. My hope is to reduce my personal dependence on all fossil fuels. I hope to someday even recharge the electric bike via solar energy, helping to usher in a better understanding of how each one of us can do our part to preserve this beautiful island for future generations.
